Başakşehir thank Can Arat for ‘years of service’ [divider]
Başakşehir have released a statement thanking Can Arat and wishing him all the best for the future.
The statement read: “Başakşehir have agreed to mutually terminate Can Arat’s contract, the club would like to thank Can for his years of service to the club and we wish him all the best for the future.”
Arat has joined Antalyaspor on a 1.5 year deal as a free agent.
The experienced defender joined Başakşehir from Fenerbahçe in 2009 and made 89 appearances for the Istanbul based club.
The 30-year-old defender won the Süper Lig with Fenerbahçe in 2006/07.
