Belgium international’s Man Utd future in doubt, Turkish giants on alert

Belgium international Adnan Januzaj’s Manchester United future is in doubt according to the Sun.

United boss Jose Mourinho reportedly wants to trim down his squad to 22 players which would result in up to eight departures over the summer.

Januzaj has been named among one of the eight players expected to part ways with the club after failing to keep a regular spot in the first team. The 21-year-old was loaned out to Dortmund for six-months last season but also struggled in Germany.

The Hurriyet newspaper reported last month that Galatasaray were preparing a loan move for the winger.

Super Lig champions Besiktas are in the market for a winger after loaning Gokhan Tore to West Ham as are Fenerbahce following the departure of Lazar Markovic and Luis Nani.

Januzaj failed to make the Belgium squad for Euro 2016 after a disappointing season at United but does have six caps for the national team.

The 21-year-old would be able to play in Turkey as a domestic player due to having part-Turkish heritage.
