Belkalem could miss AFCON 2015 with injury

Trabzonspor defender Essaid Belkalem could miss the 2015 African Cup of Nations after picking up an injury during the 4-1 loss against Eskişehirspor.
Belkalem had to be taken off an hour into the game against EsEs after aggravating a hamstring injury.
The Algerian international is still expected to be called up by the national team but the Fennecs’ manager Christian Gourcuff has called up Osasuna defender Liassine Cadamuro in case Belkalem fails to recover.
Belkalem has three goals and one assist in all competitions for Trabzonspor this season.
The 25-year-old defender joined the Black Sea Storm from Watford this summer.
Algeria will face South Africa, Ghana and Senegal in AFCON Group C.
The tournament kicks off on January 19, Algeria will face South Africa in the opening game.
