Benfica v Galatasaray: Confirmed Starting Line-Ups – Ex Arsenal striker starts for Lions

Lukas Podolski

Galatasaray take on Benfica at the Estadio da Luz stadium in the Champions League knowing that a win could move them into first place in Group C.

Lions boss Hamza Hamzaoğlu has decided to shift around his defence following injury to left-back Carole. Sabri Sarıoğlu will start at right-back while on-loan Manchester City defender Jason Denayer will start alongside Chedjou at centre-back and Hakan Balta will move out to the left.

Denayer has featured as a right-back for most of the season alongside Balta but the Turkish international is also a left-back.

Bilal Kısa will start alongside in-form captain Selçuk İnan in midfield. Wesley Sneijder will start as a playmaker with Podolski and Olcan on the wings. Burak Yılmaz will start upfront for the Istanbul giants replacing Umut Bulut who started against Benfica a fortnight ago.
