Besiktas have narrowed their search for a right back down to two players.

Martin Linnes – who Besiktas have been linked with since the summer – tops the list. The Norwegian international has eight assists and four goals in 34 games this season.

Benfica’s Maxi Pareriri is Besiktas’s second choice if they are unable to sign Linnes.

The Uruguayan international is highly experienced and may be available for a cut price in January due to his contract running out at the end of the season.

Liverpool are also targeting a move for Benfica right-back Maxi Periera during the January transfer window according to the Mirror newspaper.

The Black Eagles have played much of the season without a right-back due to injuries and a lack of depth.

Midfielders Necip Uysal and Atiba Hutchinson have had to fill in as make shift right-backs from time to time this season.

Beşiktaş have also been linked with Sporting’s Junior Caiçara, Dinamo Zagreb’s Ivo Pinto, Cruzeiro’s Mayke and Udinese’s Cameroon international Nyom.
