Besiktas target Johan Larsson has stated that he wants to leave Elfsborg in January.

The 24-year-old right back who won defender of the year in Sweden for 2014 spoke with the newspaper Expressen.

“We have to wait and see what happens. I will be leaving Elfsborg soon,” Larsson stated.

Sunderland and Everton are among a host of European clubs who are also watching the 24-year-old Swede.

The Black Eagles have played much of the season without a right-back due to injuries and a lack of depth.

Midfielders Necip Uysal and Atiba Hutchinson have had to fill in as make shift right-backs from time to time this season.

Larsson made five assists and scored nine goals in 41 appearances last season.
