Beşiktaş midfielder Necip Uysal believes his side can become Süper Lig champions without winning a derby game.
“We should not have lost the Fenerbahçe game, we could have easily won it, derby games are of course important but they are only four games over the season, we can win the league without winning a derby,” Uysal was quoted as saying by Eurosport TR.

The Black Eagles are yet to win a derby game against Fenerbahçe and Galatasaray under the command of Slaven Bilic.

The Turkish giants are currently third in the Süper Lig, three points behind league leaders Galatasaray.
Beşiktaş are just one point behind league leaders Fenerbahçe who are in second place.
Uysal has four goals and nine assists in 179 appearances for Beşiktaş in all appearances over the course of his career.
The 23-year-old has a total of one goal and two assists in 32 appearances for the Eagles in all competitions this season.
