Beşiktaş cannot afford to underestimate Club Brugge in the Europa League Last 16 according to fullback Daniel Opare.
Opare joined Beşiktaş on loan from Porto over the winter transfer window but the Ghana international previously played in Belgium.
The 24-year-old joined Porto from Standard Liege last season and has experience playing against Club Brugge.
“I have played against Club Brugge a few times, they have good players and are definitely not a side to underestimate,” Opare told BJK Tv.
“They play attacking football and cannot be taken lightly, we must prepare as we did for Liverpool.”
Opare had one goal and 12 assists in 119 games for Belgium outfit Standard Liege.
Club Brugge are currently first in the Belgium Pro League on 55 points after 28 games.
The Belgium giants secured a place in the Europa League Last 16 after beating Aalborg.
Beşiktaş made it to the Last 16 after knocking Liverpool out of the competition.
The Black Eagles are currently second in the Süper Lig and take on Sivasspor on Sunday.
