Besiktas continue preparations for İstanbul Başakşehir clash

Besiktas have continued their preparations for the Turkish Super Lig clash against İstanbul Başakşehir. Manager Slaven Bilic gave his side a two day break following their defeat last weekend.

The Black Eagles are coming off the back of a disappointing 1-0 defeat at the hands of their rivals Fenerbahce. Bilic and his side have been heavily criticised for their performance in the Istanbul derby. The Croatian manager is yet to win an Istanbul in seven attempts since arriving at Besiktas.

Besiktas were also eliminated from the Europa League last week following a 3-1 defeat at home against Club Brugge.

Tolga Zengin who has been ruled out until the end of the season will miss the Başakşehir clash.

Olcay Şahan, Ersan Adem Gülüm, Gökhan Töre, Demba Ba, Pedro Franco, Veli Kavlak, Cenk Tosun, Kerim Frei, Atınç Nukan, izinli olan Ramon Motta, Alexander Milosevic and Daniel Opare missed training due to international commitments.
