Beşiktaş defender Alexander Milosevic has returned to light training according to the clubs official website.

Milosevic has started training using the AlterG – Anti Gravity Treadmill – and is undergoing physiotherapy.

The Swedish international of Serbian origin joined Beşiktaş from AIK in January but broke his foot soon after during training.

Milosovic was ruled out of the Europa League Round of 32 tie against Liverpool as a result and is expected to out against Club Brugge in the Last 16.

The powerful defender of Serbian origin created two assists and scored three goals in 28 appearances for AIK this season before his move to Turkey.

Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic has struggled with injuries in defence. The Croatian manager has resorted to using central midfielders such as Necip Uysal as a centre back on occasions this season.

The Black Eagles are currently second in Süper Lig and take on Sivasspor on the road on Sunday 8 March.
