Sevilla have been in talks with Beto over renewing his contract that is set to run out at the end of the season.

The 32-year-old keeper has missed much of the season due to injury.

The Black Eagles also officially denied making an offer for Chelsea goalkeeper Petr Cech.

Beşiktaş have been linked with Cech over the past few months and were reported to have made an enquiry for the experienced keeper over the winter transfer window.

The Black Eagles are in the market for a new goalkeeper following high profile mistakes from their current number one, Tolga Zengin.

Beşiktaş were forced to play their third choice keeper in the 1-0 defeat against Fenerbahçe in the Istanbul derby last weekend.
