Besiktas drop 9 points in 7 games without Veli Kavlak

Beşiktaş have dropped a total of nine points over their last seven games without midfielder Veli Kavlak.

The Black Eagles have won three, drawn three and lost one of their most recent games without the Austrian international.

The hardworking midfielder has missed the Black Eagles last seven games due to his shoulder injury.

The Istanbul giants crashed out of the title race following a 1-0 loss against Konyaspor on Monday 18 May.

Kavlak was born in Austria and represents the Austrian national team but is also a Turkish citizen through his parents.

The 25-year-old joined Beşiktaş for £600,000 from Rapid Vienna in 2011 and has eight goals and 14 assists in 144 appearances for the Black Eagles.
