Besiktas edge close to completing Inler deal
Besiktas are close to agreeing a deal with Napoli for their defensive midfielder Gokhan Inler.
The Black Eagles who are top of the Turkish Super Lig are looking to improve their squad in January.
According to reports in the Italian media, Besiktas have agreed personal terms with Inler and are in negotiations with Napoli over the transfer fee.
Inler has fallen out of favour with the Napoli manager Rafael Benitez this season and is looking for a move away from the Serie A side in January.
Inler’s contract with Napoli runs out in June 2016.
The 30-year-old central midfielder has spent four years at Napoli since joining in July 2011 from Udinese.
Inler has scored one goal in 14 appearances for Napoli this season.
