Beşiktaş finished 2014 as Süper Lig leaders after securing 35 points from 15 games.

The Black Eagles beat Konyaspor 2-1 to secure their place at the top of the table.

Slaven Bilic admitted that his side are starting to feel the pressure of playing so many games in quick succession.

Beşiktaş will have played 13 games in 42 days after the derby against Galatasaray next week which works out at roughly three matches per-week.

“It was a difficult match because our opponent tried really hard to put an end to their recent slide,” Bilic said.

“After finding an early goal, we unnecessarily pulled back and let them dominate but looked more offensive in the second half.

“Needless to say, our defense won the game for us tonight. Sometimes, you have to grind results out, and that’s exactly what we did in this one.”

Beşiktaş beat Konyaspor to win their seventh away game of the season.

The Black Eagles have won seven out of their eight matches on the road – the best away record in the league.

Beşiktaş have now won seven consecutive games in the Süper Lig.
