Liverpool won the first-leg 1-0 but Beşiktaş will take solace that they have not lost against English opposition this season.

The Black Eagles drew 0-0 against Arsenal in the Champions League play-off round and beat Tottenham 1-0 in the Europa League group stages.

Beşiktaş also beat Liverpool 2-1 in Turkey the last time they faced the Reds in European competition in the 2007-08 Champions League.

The Atatürk Olympic stadium is a 72,000 capacity arena but Beşiktaş have not been able to attract large crowds this season.

Beşiktaş fans have boycotted the controversial Passolig e-ticketing system and there have also been transportation issues.

The Eagles will not enforce compulsory Passolig tickets for the return leg, paper tickets will be on sale for as little as 40 TL which works out at roughly £10.

The majority of tickets have already been sold and a full capacity stadium is expected for the return leg.
