Konoplyanka was on the verge of joining Liverpool last season according to former Dnipro coach Marcos Alvarez.

“Konoplyanka was really angry he couldn’t sign for Liverpool last year. They went to the Ukraine to do the medical tests, but in the end, the club decided not to sell. The lad was really eager to play for Liverpool at the time,” Alvarez told Radyo Marca.

Fellow Premier League outfit Stoke City are also reported to be interested in signing the Dnipro finalists according to the BBC.

Konoplyanka has scored eight goals and provided seven assists in all competitions this season. The 25-year-old winger is out of contract and can be signed on a free transfer.

Beşiktaş finished the Süper Lig in third placed last season and booked a place in the Europa League group stages.
