Beşiktaş are on the verge of signing former Liverpool winger Ryan Babel according to Haber1903.
The report goes on the state that an agreement has been reached with the Kasımpaşa star and all that remains is for the two clubs to agree a fee.
Babel scored a total of 22 goals in 146 appearances for Liverpool between 2007-11 and later joined Kasımpaşa on a free transfer from Ajax in 2013.
The 28-year-old has nine goals and five assists in 29 appearances for the Süper Lig outfit this season. Babel has 14 goals and 12 assists in 59 appearances for the Süper Lig outfit in all competitions.
Beşiktaş are currently without a manager following the resignation of Slaven Bilic. The Black Eagles will also hold a presidential election over the summer.
The Black Eagles finished the league in third place and booked a place in the Europa League group stages next season.
The Istanbul giants are expected to play in the new 41,903 seater Vodafone Arena stadium over the next league campaign.
