Besiktas proved themselves against Liverpool says Club Brugge head coach [divider]

Beşiktaş proved themselves against Liverpool in the Europa League Round of 32 according to Club Brugge maanger Michel Prued’homme.

The Belgium based side take on the Black Eagles in the Europa League Last 16 first-leg game later today and Prued’homme underlined that his side will not underestimate Beşiktaş.

“By my measure, Beşiktaş are a very big team. They beat Liverpool in their last game,” Prued’homme told the official UEFA website.

The Club Brugge head coach also underlined that Beşiktaş have a lot of quality and are capable of playing a physical and technical game which will make it more difficult to play against them.

“They are a well organised team with a lot of quality, a team who can play a physical game as well as a skilful one; a team that has a strategy and a big coach behind it,” he added.

Bilic lead his country to UEFA EURO 2008 and UEFA EURO 2012 as manager of the Croatian national team. Bilic then joined Lokomotiv Moscow before taking over at Beşiktaş in June 2013.

Beşiktaş are yet to win silverware under Bilic but the Eagles are in the Süper Lig title race and competing in the Europa League.
