Besiktas set to hold talks with wonder-kid on Man City radar

Besiktas are set to hold talks with Altinordu wonder-kid Caglar Soyuncu according to club president Fikret Orman.

Speaking ahead of the Akhisar clash Orman said: “We have a tough game away to Akhisar we may hold talks after that but we will see.”

 

The Black Eagles could face competition from Manchester City who are keeping tabs the 19-year-old defender a source close to the player told Turkish-Football.com.

Bayer Leverkusen and Koln also recently sent scouts to keep tabs on the Turkish international star.

The 19-year-old joined Altınordu aged 10 and spent a brief period as a forward before establishing himself as a defender for the first-team.

The young defender has already established himself in the Turkish national team and could end up being selected for the European Championship squad heading over to France this summer.

Soryuncu is one of the hottest prospects in the current Altınordu setup. The PTT 1. Lig outfit have introduced a policy of only playing club grown footballers.
