Skrtel recently confirmed that he will consider his options after rejecting Liverpool’s contract extension according the Guardian.
“The contract, which was presented to me, makes me uneasy, so I did not sign it,” Skrtel told the Slovakian outlet Aktualne.
There has been some speculation about the interest of other clubs for my person, but they are currently being addressed.”
Beşiktaş were reported to have held talks with Skrtel’s representatives recently according to Lig TV
The Reds signed the Slovakian international from Zenit St. Petersburg back in 2008 and the experienced defender is now closing on 300 appearances for the Premier League giants.
