Besiktas set to sign Werder Bremen defender

Besiktas are set to sign Werder Bremen’s defender Sebastian Prödl according to the German sports newspaper Sports Bild.

The report states that Besiktas have reached an agreement with the 27-year-old defender. Besiktas have reportedly agreed upon a three-year contract with Prödl which will expire in summer 2018.

Prödl’s contract with Werder Bremen expires at the end of the season. The 27-year-old defender has three goals in 18 appearances for Werder Bremen this season.

Bremen currently sit in 9th place in the Bundesliga with 34 points in 26 games.
