Beşiktaş are keeping tabs on Chelsea winger Mohamed Salah according to Eurosport Turkey.
Black Eagles president Fikret Orman confirmed that they were working with Chelsea to sign a player.
“We will sign a right-back and a centre-back, both will be foreign also we will invest in a young forward,” Orman said.
“We are not interested in Petr Cech but we are working together with Chelsea to sign a player.”
Beşiktaş have been in talks with Chelsea over a deal for close co-operation between the first teams, academies, training support and joint scouting projects.
The Black Eagles signed Demba Ba from the Blues for £6 million this summer, the Senegalese international striker has already scored 12 goals in 15 appearances.
Chelsea also participated in a Soma fundraising football tournament with Beşiktaş and Fenerbahçe this summer.
Beşiktaş also have another former Blues player among their ranks, Gökhan Töre started his career at the Chelsea academy.
