Beşiktaş take on Başakşehir at the Atatürk Olympic stadium in the mini-Istanbul derby on Sunday 13 September.

Black Eagles manager Şenol Güneş will give Mario Gomez his first start of the season despite Cenk Tosun being the top goalscorer in the league with four goals this season.

Former Arsenal man Oğuzhan Özyakup will start and has had a brilliant start to the season scoring twice and providing three assists in all competitions.

Ex Chelsea winger Gökhan Töre will also start on the right-flank while Jose Sosa makes a return to the side in attacking midfielder.

Olcay Şahan will start on the left-flank and Atiba Hutchinson will protect centre-backs Rhodolfo and Ersan Gülüm from his central midfield role.

Beşiktaş are currently third in the league on six points and have scored the highest number of goals this season – 10.

The Eagles have scored 2997 goals since records began and will hit the 3000 mark if they continue scoring 3.33 goals per-game as they have this season.
