Besiktas want to keep hold of Man Utd & Spurs target Tore for another season

Beşiktaş have released a statement confirming that the club want to keep hold of winger Gökhan Töre for another season.

The Black Eagles did however, underline that they would consider offers at the end of next season.

The statement that was published in the Sabah newspaper read: “We have a new stadium opening and new goals, we are not considering to part ways with Gökhan Töre but could consider offers at the end of next season.”

Töre has been in the best form of his career. The Turkish international put on impressive performances against Tottenham, Arsenal and Liverpool in Europe and has nine goals and 10 assists in all competitions this season.

The explosive winger joined the Black Eagles from Kazan for £4 million this summer and has four-years left on his contract.

The 23-year-old has been closely linked with a number of Premier League clubs including Tottenham and Manchester United.

Black Eagles board member Erdal Torunoğulları recently stated that Töre is being scouted by a number of clubs.

Torunoğulları also revealed Spurs and United have keeping tabs on Töre when asked recently by the official Beşiktaş Magazine: “A number of players are starting to make a name for themselves.”

“Töre is being scouted by the clubs mentioned, I have met with a number of scouts who have made enquiries about him.”
