Besiktas win 5th Super Lig game in a row [divider]
Beşiktaş beat Gaziantepspor 1-0 to move into first place and record their fifth Süper Lig victory in a row.
The Black Eagles have now won six out of their seven away games played this season – the best record in the league.
Beşiktaş also kept their fourth clean sheet in a row in all competition.
Slaven Bilic praised his players following the game and revealed that he was pleased with the way in which his side defended.
“I want to congratulate my players for their performance today,” Bilic said.
“We were tired from the Europa League game and under a lot of pressure with our rivals winning.
“We played our best football in the second half but what I was most pleased with was the way we defended as a team.
“Atınç’s performance was not really a surprise for us, he has been training very hard in training and we felt he was ready.
“He is a huge talent with a promising future.”
