Predictions: Kasimpasa v Fenerbahce Preview – Istanbul derby day

Fenerbahce have got off to their worst ever start to a league campaign and had there 24 match unbeaten home run put to an end by Bursaspor last week.

Dick Advocaat has only been in charge for a few weeks but if the Yellow Canaries do not start improving their results he may only last a few weeks longer.

Advocaat will welcome back Mehmet Topal and Simon Kjaer who have both served their suspensions. The duo will bolster the Istanbul giants defence but the real problem has been in terms of creativity.

Fenerbahce have struggled to unlock stubborn defensive sides with just Salih Ucan available as a creative midfield option. Advocaat does have a wealth of attacking options but is lacking options in central midfield which has resulted in a rather disjointed side.

Kasimpasa have not got off to a great start either but it will be up to Fenerbahce to try and get through a pretty sturdy defence.

The game plan from the Istanbul minnows will be to hold tight and try steal a goal on the counter attack.

Fenerbahce will be favourites going into the clash but have been priced short and there is more value on Under 2.5 goals.

Prediction: Under 2.5 goals
