Bilic confident with Besiktas’ chances against Club Brugge following Liverpool win [divider]

Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic revealed that his side are full of confidence going into the Europa League Last 16 clash against Club Brugge after knocking Liverpool out of the competition in the last round.

“We will be ready for Brugge in Thursday’s match,” Bilic told the official Beşiktaş website.

“After the Liverpool match we want to go for another important place in the club’s history.”

 The Black Eagles beat Liverpool 5-4 on penalties to book a place in the Last 16 against Club Brugge.
Bilic will be without attacking midfielder Jose Sosa against the Belgium giants. Goalkeeper Tolga Zengin and striker Cenk Tosun are also injury doubts.
Beşiktaş beat Sivasspor 1-0 on the weekend to join Süper Lig leaders Galatasaray on 51 points. The Lions are however, currently first on goal difference while third place Fenerbahçe are only one point behind.
The Eagles have never lost against Belgium opposition in European competition.

The first-leg against Club Brugge will be in Belgium on Thursday 12 March.
