Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic hopes that Demba Ba and Gökhan Töre will recover in time for the Europa League Round of 32 second-leg game against Liverpool on Thursday.
“Ba and Gökhan are brave players, if they can play they will, hopefully they will be available we are just waiting for the doctors to give them the all clear,” Bilic told Turkish-football.com reporters.
Former Chelsea striker Ba has been in prolific form for Beşiktaş this season scoring 22 times already this season but the Senegalese international missed the Süper Lig game against Eskişehirspor on the weekend.
Töre has also been in great form scoring a career high seven goals and provided 10 assists this season but is also an injury doubt.
Bilic will also be without first-choice centre back Ersan Gülüm and left-back Ramon Motta due to suspension.
January signing Alexander Milosevic and first-choice goalkeeper Tolga Zengin are also out injured.
