Beşktaş manager Slaven Bilic has revealed that it is still too early to start talking about winning the Süper Lig title despite being first in the league.
The Black Eagles retained their place at the top of the league following a 2-0 win against Trabzonspor at the Avni Aker stadium.
“It was a huge achievement to return from Trabzon with the three points but it is way too early to get carried away, we have won nothing yet and our feet must be firmly fixed to the ground,” Bilic told Beşiktaş Tv.
The Croatian manager underlined that the next five weeks will all be final games and that each match is as important as the other.
“We have five final games ahead,” he added.
Beşiktaş are currently first in the Süper Lig, ahead of Galatasaray on goal difference and only one point separates them from third placed Fenerbahçe.
The Black Eagles take on Gaziantepspor next in the the league, a win would be enough to retain first place.
The Turkish giants will take on Galatasaray in the Istanbul derby in the penultimate week.
