Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic praised the synergy shown between Kerim Frei and Beşiktaş in the 2-1 win over Başakşehir.

Frei and Ba have combined for six of the Black Eagles last seven goals in the Süper Lig.

The Senegalese international and Frei both have three leagues goals this season.

“I want to talk about the manner in which we played today,” Bilic said after the game.

“We played well in the first half but couldn’t finish our chances.

“However, Kerim Frei’s second half performance was incredible and Demba Ba’s goal was sensational.

“Winning is not always what is most important, we are playing the right football and I congratulate the manner in which the players performed.”

Frei was a constant threat going forwards and completed the highest number of successful dribbles in the game (5).

The Turkish international also had an 87 percent pass accuracy and his defensive performance would have pleased Bilic. Frei completed two tackles and one interceptions throughout the game (Whoscored.com).

The Turkish international joined Beşiktaş from Fulham for £3 million last season.

The 20-year-old winger has a total of four goals in 14 appearances this season.
