Beşiktaş manager Slaven Bilic underlined that his side will play an attacking based game against Liveprool in the Europa League Round of 32 second-leg.

“We have a lot of respect for Liverpool, they are a top quality side with great players but we will be playing to win,” Bilic was quoted as saying by Eurosport TR.

Bilic revealed that his side will not neglect their defensive duties despite playing an atatacking style.

“We will defend as a team, we will put in maximum effort, this is a game where everyone must raise their game,” he added.

The Croatian manager has a number of missing players in defence including centre back Ersan Gülüm and left-back Ramon Motta.

First choice goalkeeper Tolga Zengin and January signing Alexander Milosevic are also out injured.

Bilic’s injury woes pale in comparison to Liverpool head coach Brendan Rodgers who will be without seven players.

Steven Gerrard, Lucas, Jordan Henderson, Coutinho, Sakho and Glen Johnson and Lazar Markovic are all out for the Reds.

Liverpool head into the return leg in Istanbul with a 1-0 lead. The second game will be played at the Atatürk Olympic stadium on Thursday.
