Braga v Fenerbahce: Europa League Preview

Jeremain Lens

Fenerbahce take on Braga in the Europa League Last 16 second-leg needing just a draw to progress to the next round.

The Yellow Canaries will welcome back Diego who returns from suspension but on-loan Liverpool winger Lazar Markovic has been ruled out with injury.

Fenerbahce boss has a full strength side to pick from other than Markovic and is likely to stick with former Manchester United striker Robin van Persie upfront after he scored his 16th goal of the season in the 1-0 win over Kayserispor on the weekend.

Fellow ex United teammate Luis Nani is also likely to start and will know Braga well being a Portuguese international himself. Fenerbahce could actually start with five or more native Portuguese speakers tonight.

Fenerbahce have won all of their last five games conceding just once over the same time frame but Braga have only failed to score in two home games this season.

The Yellow Canaries do however, have more quality in their ranks and a manager as well as several players who know Portuguese football inside out which could just give them the advantage.

Prediction: Fenerbahce Draw no Bet
