Bremen join race for Man Utd & Liverpool target Ozan Tufan

Werder Bremen have joined a long list of suitors planning to prize Ozan Tufan away from Bursaspor in the summer according to Turkish newspaper Yeni Şafak.

Bremen were reported to have sent scouts to keep tabs on the 20-year-old against Başakşehir on the weekend.

Tufan started in a holding midfield position, Bursaspor went onto crush the Istanbul minnows 4-1 and stay in the race for a top four spot.

The Turkish international is also being scouted by Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Juventus and AC Milan according to his father.

“Other big European teams have sent scouts to watch Ozan play…AC Milan, Juventus, Chelsea and both Manchester clubs, City and United,” Mehmet Tufan told Spanish newspaper AS.

Spanish newspaper AS also recently revealed that Liverpool and Atletico Madrid are also monitoring the young midfielder.

Former Kasımpaşa manager Shota Arveladze expects Tufan to join the Red Devils.

“Ozan Tufan could join Manchester United within a short space of time, I know a number of European footballs biggest clubs are keeping close tabs on him,” Arveladze told Fanatik.

Tufan has been closely linked with United and has revealed that he wants to play in England in the future.

“I want to succeed at Bursaspor but career wise my dream is to play for Liverpool,” Tufan recently told Radoyspor.
