Galatasaray striker Burak Yılmaz has revealed that he will not play against Bursaspor next due to injury.

“I have not recovered, there is a problem with my hamstring, I will not be playing against Bursaspor,” Yılmaz was quoted as saying by Sporx.

Yılmaz initially sustained an injury in the International Royal Cup friendly tournament during the winter break.

The Turkish international aggravated his injury during the Lions 2-0 win over Rizespor last weekend.

Yılmaz played three minutes before having to come off injured.

The 29-year-old striker has 11 Süper Lig goals this season making his the joint highest goalscorer in the league alongside Gekas of Akhisar, Cardozo of Trabzonspor and Fernandao of Bursaspor.

Galatasaray are currently third in the league, just one point behind leaders Fenerbahçe.

The Lions face a tricky test against fourth place Bursaspor at the Bursa Atatürk stadium on the weekend.
