Bursaspor want to complete signing of Porto midfielder Josue

Bursaspor want to complete the signing of Porto midfielder Josue according to club president Recep Bölükbaşı.

“I met with Josue, I meet with all my players, we have met with his club and his agent and he wants to stay,” Bölükbaşı told IHA.

Josue is reported to be happy in Turkey but he did reveal that he would consider a move to Beşiktaş or Galatasaray if an offer were to be made.

“I want to stay in Turkey, I have settled in well and enjoy life here, if one of the Turkish giants make a bid I would consider it but there has been no offers as of yet,” Josue was reported to have told A Bola.

Josue joined the Green Crocodiles on loan in the summer and Bursaspor and has been in impressive form for the Green Crocodiles establishing himself as a key player in Şenol Güneş’s side

The Portuguese midfielder rose through the Porto youth ranks before joining Paços Ferreira in 2011 and then returning to the Portuguese giants in 2013 on a four-year deal.

The 24-year-old has seven goals and four assists in all competitions this season.

Bursaspor are currently joint fourth in the Super Lig on 50 points.

The Green Crocodiles have scored the highest number of goals in the Süper Lig this season (66).
