Calum Chambers reveals who can bring the title back to Arsenal

Arsenal’s young defender Calum Chambers has revealed who he believes is the man who can lead the Gunners to the Premier League title.

The England international reckons Mesut Ozil is the man to end Arsenal’s 12 year wait for the title. The Gunners last won the Premier League in the 2003-04 season.

“If anyone is going to win us the title, it’s Mesut Ozil,” Chambers told Match of the Day magazine.

“He’ll be a very important player, creating chances, assisting and scoring goals himself.”

Meanwhile Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has admitted that the Gunners may be without Mesut Ozil going into their clash with Leicester City this weekend.

Wenger was quoted on the official Arsenal website as saying: “We will try, but when they have not enough preparation they get injured,” when asked whether the trio will feature on Saturday.

Ozil was included in the provisional squad going into the game against the Reds but was left out of the match day squad The Germany international is not injured but Wenger fears that his star man may end up on the sidelines if he is rushed back before he is 100 percent fit.
