Cenk Tosun a doubt for Gençlerbirliği clash

Cenk Tosun is a doubt for Besiktas’s Turkish Super League clash with Gençlerbirliği on Monday after suffering a foot injury. The 23-year-old striker sustained a Plantar fasciitis injury during his sides 4-1 victory over Adana Demirspor in the Turkish Cup.
The former Gaziantepspor striker only participated in light training today. Atiba Hutchinson, Mustafa Pektemek are also injury doubts for the Eagles next game while Veli Kavlak will be out with a suspension.

Demba Ba is expected to start up front for Besiktas after recovering from his toe injury.
Tosun was born in Germany and represented the German youth national team before switching to the Turkish national team.
The 23-year-old striker joined Beşiktaş from Gaziantepspor this summer on a five year deal.
Tosun has seven goals in 18 appearances for the Black Eagles this season.
Besiktas travel to Gençlerbirliği on Monday in their first game of the second half of the season.
