Champions League Draw: Man City & Celtic to battle with the beard of Barcelona

Arda Turan Luis Enrique

The Champions League draw saw Europe’s best pitted against one another but every year there is always that dreaded group of death.

This season the group of death is undoubtedly Group C which will feature Barcelona, Manchester City, Celtic and Borussia Monchengladbach go head to head.

Barcelona and City are perhaps the most interesting match up considering Pep Guardiola is a club legend over at Barca.

Pep may know all about Barca but he will have to get a lot more out of City than they have shown in the Champions League over recent years if they are to topple the European juggernauts.

The Citizens have lost all four of their previous Champions League matches against Barcelona.

Barca have started the season in great form and Arda Turan has really stood out, filling in for Brazilian superstar Neymar.

The bearded winger has three goals and one assists in his last three games and has managed to win a trophy as well – the Spanish Super Cup.

Celtic will be no pushovers at home either and Monchengladbach are on the rise. Group C looks tough on paper but
