Chelsea ace set for Stamford Bridge exit as he prepares for 5th loan move

during the Barclays Premier League match between Chelsea and Wigan Athletic at Stamford Bridge on February 9, 2013 in London, England.

Chelsea’s out-of-favour winger Marko Marin is set to join the Greek Super League side Olympiakos on a season-long loan according to the Turkish outlet Fanatik.

The Germany international joined Chelsea from Werder Bremen for £6.8 million back in 2012 however, Marin has failed to cement his place in the Blues squad.

Marin has been sent out on loan for the past four seasons and spent last term at Trabzonspor. The 27-year-old failed to impress at the Black Sea Storm, providing five assists and scoring two goals in 29 appearances in all competitions.

The experienced winger was one of 26 players to be loaned out by Chelsea when he joined Trabzonspor this summer. The Blues also loaned out Kenneth Omeruo to fellow Super League club Kasimpasa.

Besiktas have also been linked with a move for Marko Marin according to Fotomac. The Black Eagles won the league title and will be able to offer guaranteed Champions League group stage football this season.
