Chelsea in talks with Turkish giants president in London over striker

Besiktas president Fikret Orman is currently in London set to hold talks with a number of Premier League clubs over transfers confirmed club manager Senol Gunes.

Gunes was quoted by Turkish-football as saying: “The boss [Fikret Orman] is in London holding talks, we left transfers late last season as well.”

The latest development comes just a day after Besiktas made another enquiry regarding the availability of Remy on loan.

Besiktas are in pursuit of a striker and have a shortlist including Liverpool forward Christian Benteke, Manchester City striker Bony. Orman is also set to try and complete the transfer of Blues defender Kenneth Omeruo on loan and will enter talks with City over Samir Nasri.

Remy is expected to leave over the summer after being dropped from the Blues opening Premier League game of the season against West Ham.

The French striker has fallen down the pecking order and is not expected to be given much playing time this season.

Besiktas won the league title last season and would be able to offer first team as well as Champions League football.
