Chelsea offered Ibrahimovic £11m, Fenerbahce also in race

Chelsea have offered PSG star Zlatan Ibrahimovic £11 million according to football agent Mesrun Izzet.

The agent revealed that Chelsea have already made an offer and that Fenerbahce are also interested in the Sweden international.

Izzet stated that he has been working with Ibrahimovic’s agent Mino Raiola and that Fenerbahce will need to offer £10 million per-season in order to lure him to Istanbul.

Izzet was quoted by Radyospor as saying: “If Fenerbahce meet his demands he could sign. They want £10 million per-season and the only club in Turkey that could offer that in the current climate is Fenerbahce however, Chelsea have made an £11 million offer and are waiting for a decision.”

“He will leave France but it remains to be seen who he will pick.”

Ibrahimovic has already revealed that he will leave PSG over the summer.

The 34-year-old told beIN Sports: “For the moment, I will not be at PSG next season. I still have a month and a half left here.

“If they replace the Eiffel Tower with a statue of me, then I will stay.”

Galatasaray were closely linked with the experienced striker last summer but were unable to meet his demands.

Fenerbahce are currently second in the Super League four points behind leaders Besiktas. The Yellow Canaries hit the headlines last summer bringing in high profile names such as Robin van Persie and Luis Nani from Manchester United.
