Chelsea set to enter talks with Turkish Champions in London over French striker

Besiktas are set to send representatives to London to hold talks with Chelsea over the striker of Loic Remy according to Fanatik.

Per the source, Remy is one of five players on the Besiktas striker shortlist and the club are planning to sign the experienced striker as a replacement for Mario Gomez.

The Germany international joined Besiktas on loan last season and played a key role in the Black Eagles winning the league title.

Gomez was top goal scorer and his form was so impressive that he earned a place back in the Germany national team setup going into the European Championships.

Remy has another two-years remaining on his contract but has struggled for a first-team spot since joining from QPR in 2012.

The Black Eagles were closely linked with Remy last summer however former head coach Jose Mourinho blocked him move according to the Evening Standard.

The powerful striker has 12 goals and three assists in 47 appearances for the Blues in all competitions.
