Chelsea set to offload defensive flop to Turkey as Fenerbahce line up Caner replacement

Chelsea are looking to make major revisions to their squad following a disappointing season which has seen the Blue’s miss out on a top six finish.

The Turkish newspaper Fanatik claim that the London based club are preparing to offload Baba Rahman for a cut price and that Fenerbahce are interested in signing him.

Rahman has disappointed since joining Chelsea from Augsburg on a £14 million deal at the beginning of the season.

The London based club have often been criticised for letting young players leave without getting a chance to prove themselves and Rahman seems another strange signing given the lack of opportunities he was given in the senior side.

The Ghana international has made a total of 12 Premier League appearances for the London based club this season.

Fenerbahce signed eight players earlier this season including Lille defender Simon Kjaer, 2014-15 Süper Lig top scorer Fernandao, Turkish international Şener Özbayraklı and Brazil international Josef De Souza.
