Chelsea target Enes Unal turns down contract extension

Enes Ünal has turned down a contract extension with Bursaspor according to the Milliyet.

The report states that despite the Green Crocodiles efforts to extend Ünal’s contract, the 18-year-old wants to leave Bursaspor.

The Green and Whites have set a €5 million price tag on the young striker however, Ünal’s contract with the club expires in July 2016.

Bursaspor will receive just €130,000 if Ünal leaves on a free transfer at the end of the season.

Ünal has previously been linked with a €10 million move to Chelsea by the Metro.

The 18-year-old striker has an extraordinary international record, hitting the back of the net 24 times in 25 games for the U16’s and has already been called-up to the U19 as well as the U21 sides.

Ünal made his first appearance for the senior Turkish national team in the 2-1 win over Luxembourg on Tuesday 31 March.

The Bursaspor striker also became the youngest player ever to score in the Süper Lig last season and already has seven first team goals for the Green Crocodiles.
