Chelsea winger signs €1.6m per-season deal with Turkish side

Chelsea winger Marko Marin has signed a €1.6 million per-season loan deal with Trabzonspor. The Black Sea based side also have a €4 million buyout clause option which will remain active for the duration of his contract.

The club disclosed the financial details of the deal on their official website and the stock exchange.

The statement read: “Trabzonspor have reached an agreement with Chelsea to loan Marko Marin for the 2015-16 season with a buyout clause option worth €4 million. Marin will earn €1.6 million for the season and the contract includes a a €10,000 per-match bonus.”

Marin arrived in Trabzon today on a private jet and underwent a medical with Trabzonspor before completing his move.

The 26-year-old will join Trabzonspor on a one-year loan until the end of the season.

The loan will be the Germany international’s fourth loan spell in as many seasons since joining Chelsea on an €8 million transfer in 2012.

Marin has played at Sevilla, Fiorentina and most recently Anderlecht on loan after failing to secure a place at the London based Premier League club.

The Chelsea winger will join former Blues full-back Jose Bosingwa at Trabzonspor.

The Black Sea Storm are currently joint first in the league after winning their opening two games.
