Chinese interest for £23m Arsenal & Chelsea target

Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan is being linked with a new club almost daily now and the Chinese have become the latest to join a long list of possible destinations for the bearded winger.

Fanatik claim that Turan has received interest from an unnamed Chinese club that have submitted a significant offer.

The Sun meanwhile claim that Premier League giants Chelsea and Arsenal are locked in a race to sign the Barcelona midfielder.

Both London based sides were closely linked with Turan last summer but he joined Barcelona instead despite the La Liga giants facing a six-month transfer ban.

The report also claims that the La Liga champions are willing to sell him for a cut-price £23 million deal.

Despite the constant barrage of transfer rumours regarding Turan his Ahmet Bulut has revealed that his client wants to stay and fight for his place with the La Liga giants.

Speaking to Emre Sarigul of Turkish-football.com [via the Guardian], Bulut said: “The interest [in Arda] is normal but the rumours saying he is leaving Barcelona are false, he is happy at the club.”

The Turkish international midfielder does have another four-years remanning on his current contract.
