Christoph Daum has been linked with the vacant Balıkesirspor managerial job.
Balıkesirspor are on the hunt for a new manager after İsmail Ertekin announced his resignation following his sides 3-1 defeat to Sivasspor at home.
Daum has won the league with Besiktas and twice with Fenerbahce. The experienced coach also managed Bursaspor.
The 61-year-old has been out of a job since his spell at the Green Crocodiles in 2013.
Balıkesirspor find themselves at the bottom of the Turkish Super League with just five points from 10 games.
The newly promoted side’s only victory this season came against Galatasaray.
