Conte drops Chelsea striker ahead of Watford clash amid Turkish giants entering talks

Chelsea boss Antonio Conte has dropped out-of-favour striker Loic Remy for the second week running.

The French striker has been instructed to find a new club and will not feature in Conte’s plans this season.

Conte was asked whether Remy or Cuadrado would leave on loan over the summer in his pre-match press conference to which he replied: “I have contact every day but I discuss this with the club. We must find solutions.”

Chelsea have no shortage of suitors for Remy. Turkish champions Besiktas are in talks with the Blues after club president Fikret Orman travelled to London a source close to the club told Turkish-football.com.

Fellow London based outfit Crystal Palace have also been closely linked with Remy and head coach Alan Pardew has worked with the experienced striker in the past.

Besiktas would however, be able to offer Remy Champions League football this season and the guarantee of first-team football.

The Ealges enjoyed success with another Chelsea striker Demba Ba who joined the club the summer before last before earning a big money move to China.
