Conte wants Chelsea striker situation resolved as Turkish champions enter talks

Chelsea manager Antonio Conte has revealed that he wants the future of Loic Remy resolved and will talk to the club about what will be done about the striker.

Conte was asked whether Remy or Cuadrado would leave on loan over the summer in his pre-match press conference to which he replied: “I have contact every day but I discuss this with the club. We must find solutions.”

Besiktas president Fikret Orman is currently in London holding talks with Chelsea over a loan deal for the out-of-favour striker a source close to the club told Turkish-football.com.

The Black Eagles are desperate to replace Mario Gomez who scored 26 times last season and played a key role in Besiktas winning the league title.

Besiktas will compete in the Champions League this season and want to bring in a striker with experience playing at the highest level.

Remy struggled for playing time at Chelsea last season and has fallen out of favour with Antonio Conte who did not include Remy in the first game of the season against West Ham.

TheĀ Eagles could however, face competition from Premier League outfit Crystal Palace who are also keen on signing the French international.
