Copenhagen manager Staale Solbakken would like to see Beşiktaş midfielder Atiba Hutchinson return to the club according to CNN Turk.

“If he wants to return all it would take is a phone call, he had a great spell at the club for 4.5 years and if he wants to return we could not turn him down,” Solbakken was quoted as saying.

Hutchinson is free to enter talks with other clubs due to his contract set to run out at the end of the season.

Beşiktaş have been in talks to extend the Canadian internationals contract however, a deal has yet to be signed.

The Black Eagles have offered Atiba a one year contract extension which would keep him at the club until July 2016.

Hutchinson joined Beşiktaş from PSV on a free transfer last summer.

The powerful defender has six assists and one goal in 58 appearances for the Black Eagles.

Hutchinson has made a total of 25 appearances for the Black Eagles in all competitions this season.

The 31-year-old was recently voted Canadian Men’s Player of the Year for a third time.
